What does the Digitrapper recorder do?
The Digitrapper™ pH-Z recorder is worn by the patient during an ambulatory reflux study, typically over 24 hours. Connected to a transnasal VersaFlex-Z catheter, it records pH and impedance data, letting the physician differentiate acid reflux from non-acid (weakly acidic or gas) reflux and measure each reflux event's duration and acid content.

Design
The recorder is compact (approximately 150g), worn on a belt or shoulder strap, and supports both combined pH-impedance and pH-only recording modes. Patients can mark symptom events on the device during the study, and data is uploaded directly via USB for review on Reflux analysis software.
